Bookkeeper
The Eugene Waldorf School is seeking a part time Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper is essential to the financial health of the school. This position supports the Business Manager, Administration Team, and the Board in ensuring timely and accurate reports, effective management of accounts payable and receivable, and other Business Office tasks.
The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree in accounting, Certified Bookkeeper designation, or related credential. Two years or more of bookkeeping experience is required. Non-profit experience is helpful. Other desired skills or qualities include: Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent math skills; highly organized and detail oriented; strong computer skills; the ability to learn new things quickly; tactful; personable; punctual; the ability to give and receive feedback gracefully; and comfortable working with frequent interruptions. A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team is essential.
This is a part time position (0.75 FTE/30 hours per week). The annual salary is dependent on education and experience, but the estimated range is between $30,500 - $33,200. Applicants must have the ability to pass a fingerprinted background check through the Oregon Central Background Registry and to obtain first aid/cpr certification upon hire. TEACHER ASSISTANT JOB OPENINGS
Eugene Waldorf School Cedar Summer Camps
We are seeking assistant staff to join our team for one or more week-long sessions this summer. Our camps for both early childhood and grade school children are located on the beautiful Eugene Waldorf School campus and are run by experienced and talented Waldorf teachers. This is a great opportunity to work with seasoned educators and gain experience in the classroom.
Summer Program Dates and Hours: Six Week-long sessions from June 29th-August 7th. Grades Camps 9am-3pm, Early Childhood 9am-1pm.
Assistant Pay: $19 per hour for a 30 - 35 hour week
Applicants must be 18 or over, have their First Aid & CPR training, and be enrolled in the Oregon Central Background Registry. Experience teaching is preferred, as is Waldorf experience.
Teachers’ children may attend a camp (if available) at no cost during the week(s) they are teaching.
